Hi Anna, I wonder if you could help me. I love your blog and am on it often. I saw how you and your "sisters" were watching emma. I very much like those jane austin films. I have only seen Pride and prejudice, o5, Sense and sensibility, 95, and the emma-?.I just found out they re-made most all of the jane austin films. Would you have any idea what any of them are rated? I would greatly appreciate any information you can give.(:

Julie: Yes, I feel sorry for Midnight too when I don't go on a walk with him. However, he can walk by himself - we live in the country and he runs free - so it's not like I'm depriving him of exercise. :) It's just the companionship, which we both enjoy!

Hi Anna,

I was so sad while reading this story. I felt so bad for the dog as I am a huge animal lover. I realized that somewhere inside me I felt worse for the dog than for God! Of course, I know this is wrong thinking, but it's easy to fall into. Thanks for another great post!

Anna, as always, that was something that I really needed to hear. My devotions are in the evening, so it's much too easy to say "Oh, Lord, I shouldn't have stayed up that extra half-hour watching a movie; I'll have to hurry and get to sleep if I'm going to get up early tomorrow ..."

Thank you for reminding us that our devotions are fellowship time with God, not just a task to cross off our to-do lists!
