When God Writes Your Love Story by Eric and Leslie Ludy

I plan to read:
* When Dreams Come True by Eric and Leslie Ludy (borrowing from Miriam)
* Passion and Purity by Elizabeth Elliot (borrowing from Miriam)
Do Hard Things by Alex and Brett Harris (borrowing from Anna)

Another book that is good is Return to the Hiding Place. It is written by Hans Poley, one of the Jews hiding in the secret panel when the Booms were taken captive by the Nazis. I liked the Hiding Place and Tramp for the Lord too!

I, like many others, really enjoyed The Scarlet Pimpernel! Ella recommended it to me, and I to Miriam. =)

Ella: I'd never read any of Karen Kingsbury before, but I did enjoy the one I read! Yes, The Hiding Place is sad... but also gives hope. Yes, When God Writes Your Love Story is so good, isn't it?!

Mardi and Maria: I'll definitely be on the lookout for Tramp for the Lord. Her life is so inspiring!

Elisabeth Elliot is really good - you should definitely read those of her books you can find! I've enjoyed all the ones I've read, but Passion and Purity and Discipline were two of my favorites.

My! So many books...

The Scarlet Pimpernel is a wonderful novel, isn't it? Not to mention the rather unpredictable plot...

Since you have read The Hiding Place, you must follow it with Tramp for the Lord! I actually enjoyed that one more.

I really must track down some Elisabeth Elliot, musn't I? Are there any in particular I should look for?

Y'all have read a lot of books I want to read, especially those by Elisabeth Elliot, Eric and Leslie Ludy and Alex and Brett Harris. I have "Do Hard Things," but decided to finish some other books I have started and read a few more books I planned to read before getting "Do Hard Things." "The Hiding Place," is one of my favorite books. I grew up hearing about Corrie Ten Boom from my parents and my school books. I admired her. "The Hiding Place" was required reading for English one year and I was glad to read it! Earlier this year I read "Tramp For the Lord" a sequel to "The Hiding Place" by Corrie Ten Boom with Jamie Buckingham, it was a great book. I enjoyed it!

Y'alls books sound wonderful. Let's see.....I loved Like Dandelion Dust when I read it. (I enjoy Karen Kingsbury immensely.)

Do Hard Things was great (you are right, Miriam. It will be on a lot of reading lists.)

The Scarlet Pimpernel is an all time favorite of mine. I would encourage the 80's version of the movie and reading "El Dorado" as well.

The Hiding Place I have read many times and do enjoy it...though the first time I read it gave me nightmares.

And because of last month, I am reading When God Writes Your Love Story....definitely one I will own!
