I am so thankful for my dad, and I am glad that I need his adivce, guidance, and protection. We are so privileged to have a heavenly Father! Michele, thanks for the comment as well. It's hard for me to know what to say, when I've had a father my whole life. When it's a father's day post, I tend to focus more on fathers. =) Thanks for your perspective.

Miriam, by definition of Daddy's girl, I definitely didn't mean that I was Daddy's favorite! He loves us all equally. This post, since it was written by mean, naturally focused on the things we've done together.Anna Naomihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07594554739626607165noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32145813.post-1958433959780153852007-06-18T06:35:00.000-05:002007-06-18T06:35:00.000-05:002007-06-18T06:35:00.000-05:00Happy Father's Day, Mr. Lofgren and all the other ...Happy Father's Day, Mr. Lofgren and all the other fathers out there!

I meant to write a post, but I was really tired, so I just told it to my daddy. :)

Using Anna's definition of a "Daddy's Girl", then I would definitely be that. I'm not my father's favorite, but I'll always go to my father when I need him.
I love my dad so much!

I feel so sorry for the feminists that can't or don't love their fathers, or haven't know a father's love. They have missed so much.Miriam Rebekahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08871868041805663680noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32145813.post-65425718168856910802007-06-17T20:54:00.000-05:002007-06-17T20:54:00.000-05:002007-06-17T20:54:00.000-05:00Hey, I just wanted to encourage Anna S- I grew up ...Hey, I just wanted to encourage Anna S- I grew up with a dad but an absent one. You are right to look to God as your Heavenly Father who will "never leave you nor forsake you". Learn about Him and who He is really like. God knew what would happen in your life and He weaves it all together for God in His perfect plan. God has blessed me with a wonderful husband, Anna L's brother who is a very loving father to our children.
God will bless you as you continue to seek and serve Him. He can heal and fill all those "missing pieces" better than any earthly father especially when the earthly ones are missing.

Love in Him,
MicheleLukehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01461972790550360382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32145813.post-11515143754009167202007-06-17T15:30:00.000-05:002007-06-17T15:30:00.000-05:002007-06-17T15:30:00.000-05:00Wow, Anna; you were actually chubby once! ;)Great ...Wow, Anna; you were actually chubby once! ;)

Great post! Man, the feminists hate the idea that a daughter could actually love her father, but I'm proud to say you throw them out of whack very well! :)thepatriothttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17052134121925651474noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32145813.post-30495722564628214632007-06-17T13:49:00.000-05:002007-06-17T13:49:00.000-05:002007-06-17T13:49:00.000-05:00What a sweet tribute to your daddy, Anna! What a sweet tribute to your daddy, Anna!Ednellahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13645834294432954892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32145813.post-83825999991273597412007-06-17T12:49:00.000-05:002007-06-17T12:49:00.000-05:002007-06-17T12:49:00.000-05:00I got so emotional reading this. What a lovely tribute to your father, and to all the wonderful fathers out there!

I never knew my father, and therefore I can say that the feminists' claims - that the father's role is less important than the mother's - are simply not true. Some part of me will always be the little girl who needs her father's love and protection. I think that not having my father's guidance made me prone to some of the most horrible mistsakes I made.

However, those of us who don't have earthly fathers have a loving Father in heaven, watching over us. Praise Him!Anna Shttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15377583333000789903noreply@blogger.com
