Graduation!!!

I'm officially graduated! Yesterday was the ceremony and I just wanted to share pictures with everybody. I want to thank my mom again for her labor of love. She took an hour and a half to roll my hair in curlers. Unfortunately, because of the rainy weather, the curls lasted for about as long as it took to roll them. We did get some pictures, though, and it was lots of fun.

Out came the curlers

Ta-da!

Ah, doesn't she look distinguished? =)

Congratulations on graduating, my dear! And of course I'd be there! You were such a blessing to me when you stayed here and helped all day for my graduation last year. Was it really a whole year ago?

Wow! You hair really was curly! It looked beautiful. You yourself were so lovely, and your piano playing was exquisite!

Enjoy life as a homeschool graduate. =)

Congratulations! :)

Will I see you more active on the Home School Alumni Forums now?

Do you think you'll maybe go to the reunion in August or maybe next year?

It sounds like Jeniffer will be. Too bad it sounds like Anna won't. Maybe next year. ;)

Congratulations!, I love your dress and hair. It would take an eternity to get my hair to curl like that.
Nice pictures =D Again, Congrats!

Have a Blessed Day,

Oriana

Actually, Elijah, it sounds like I WILL be going to the reunion. I kept meaning to tell you. The details still aren't arranged, but I would finish up the musical the week before the reunion if it all works out. We're trying to figure out a way to get all of us "sisters" together before the reunion. We'll see if it all works out, but it would be amazing if it all does!

Wow! This is WONDERFUL news!!!!! :) :) Do you think you'll carpool with Marlana, Lydia, Chris, and I (if we all go)? :)

Depending how schedules work, perhaps on the way back we would, if you all were coming to Alabama. I/We would probably fly up, though, since I/we may be going to Nebraska around August 10th. We'll see what happens, but we should probably continue this conversation elsewhere rather than filling up the comments section on Miriam's post! ;)

:) Congratulations! :) So exciting! You are now released from the world of learning from books to learning from living! :) Can't wait until I am the same...

Anyway, tell your mum/mom she did a beautiful job with your hair! You are so blessed to have such a wonderful woman in your life...

Blessings for the years ahead!

Thanks everybody!

Elijah,
I do hope to be more active on HSA now. I am having a problem uploading a photo, though. Even when I downsize it, it doesn't want to upload. Any idea why?

Congratulations on your graduation, Miriam! My graduation ceremony was held at my church yesterday. There were 11 homeschool graduates this year. It's hard to believe the ceremony is all over now! All that work and planning, and it seems like it was over in the blink of an eye. Anyway, everything still has not sunk in completely yet - yesterday seems like a dream, but a good dream. :)

Sorry to ramble on so. Congrats to you! I'll be thinking of you as I travel the "graduated" road with you. Just remember to always strive to live your life to glorify God.

In Christ,

~Allie from KY~

Congratulatios Miriam!!!!!

I remember my graduation and everything I felt on that day - a sense of accomplishment, a sigh of relief to finally be done, and the joy of celebrating with family and friends. You are now in the ranks of the "homeschool alumni":-)

And your hair was absolutely gorgeous!!!!

For anyone wondering (based on the comments between my brother and I), it turns out that neither Miriam nor I will be going to the HSA reunion due to cost and scheduling. For those wondering what "HSA" is, go to http://homeschoolalumni.org/. It's a neat site!
