That night it rained. And it rained really hard, for quite a long time! The next day it rained a little, on Saturday it rained really hard for much of the afternoon, and on Sunday the sky poured down some more. Praise God! I am so thankful for the rain!!
The sound of rain is one of my favorite sounds. I so enjoy hearing the pitter-pat of the drops on the roof, and a gentle rain is the sweetest lullaby I can imagine. Everything smells and looks so fresh and green after a rain... it's simply beautiful!
And the plants are now doing well! The blueberries soaked up the rain, and are beginning to turn to pink then blue. I enjoyed my first ripe blueberries of the season this morning. Nothing can beat the taste of them right off the bush.

Rain truly makes everything look so much more magical. It softens everything a little bit, adds mystery. That first picture reminds me of our scenery when the rain sets in. So beautiful!

I must say that I am glad to be having a little respite from the rain right now. This spring was very, very wet!
Hi Anna,
The only weather I don't like is too much snow! I don't mind feeling cozy in a warm house while watching it come down, but if you have to go out in it, it's not always fun.
I like it when it rains. I love how trees look after a rain as it makes the moss on the bark stand out in contrast and is quite beautiful.

It has been SO dry down here in Florida. Everbody has been praying for rain. While I was outside with my kittens I noticed our beautiful rose bushes were all brown and bare. I prayed the same prayer you did. Sure enough, it has not stopped raining for 4 days STRAIGHT! Thank you Lord! Our lake is coming back too!

P.s. The funny thing is, is that I play tennis with my coach and you can't play when the courts are wet!
Rain is so beautiful! The way it falls on the earht, washing away dirt and reviving life. Like life falling on a scorched heart.
