Clip From Our Mother's Day Concert

This is one of the pieces we played in our spring concert this year. This is a really pretty piece and I hope everyone enjoys it.

Wow! That was beautiful! And what a large youth orchestra you are blessed with!

Well done Miriam! Charmingly played!

Who was the piece by? It made me think of summer in England.

Damask-rose,
The piece is by Claude Debussy, one of my favorite composers.

Our family really enjoyed the concert. It was a great Mother's Day present! I hope my sons will participate in the orchestra next year. Congratulations, by-the-way!

Oh lovely! Thanks for sharing this Miriam, you did a great job!

Damask-rose: Yes, this piece is originally a piano piece, but the orchestration is lovely!

Everyone, thank you for you comments!

Missy,
I was thrilled to get a comment from someone who was there (besides Anna!). From natural curiosity, how did you find our blog?
My email is on my profile page and if you need to know anything about the orchestra, don't hesitate to ask. I know I had questions when I first joined.
