Encouraging Daffodils
The presence of daffodils always gives encouragement that spring is on its way. Ever since the beginning of February, these beautiful flowers have been cheerfully blooming in clumps around our property. The weather really fluctuates - so cold one day, and feeling almost like summer the next; on the colder days, sometimes the daffodils disappear, or they droop to the ground after a hard rain. However, they always come back, persevering and spreading little bits of sunshine.

Why does everyone have daffodils except Minnesota?
Oh well, the crocuses will bloom soon, then the lilacs and peonies in late May and maybe a handful of violets and the irises. I guess we have flowers after all. I like dandelions.

Beautiful pictures! I love daffodils so much, but there are no flowers in Idaho just yet. Though I am excited that the "time of flowers" is near.
In Christ,
The forth daffodil down is beautiful! Like Rachel said, Idaho is yet to show its share of God's creation, but the promise of it to come is wonderful!
Beautiful! The picture before the last is just gorgeous! What a wonderful reminder of God's handiwork.
Thank you for the encouraging scriptures, as well.

So pretty. Daffodils are such "happy" flowers. I can't wait for spring to be here! Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful photos! My, it makes me eager for spring. :)
Thank you for sharing and for including the encouraging Scriptures. It was a blessing to me!

What *lovely* pictures! I enjoyed this post!
What beautiful pictures! Unfortunately it was snowing like crazy today, so I'm afraid it will be April, most likely May, when we get our crocuses and May-June for daffodils! I can't wait though and your wonderful pics give me hope!!
