Breath of Heaven

Here is a look at part of the musical, Mary: Chosen by God! Miriam sings the song Breath of Heaven (by Amy Grant) so beautifully! Despite her slight cold, her voice is lovely, and although I'm a bit shaky on some of my turns, the flowing dress is very forgiving of mistakes. =) Here's a video for you all to see a little bit of us in action. I've always liked the song Breath of Heaven - sometimes I pray the words of the song, "Help me be strong... Help me be... Help me..."

I've always been very inspired by the life of Mary. Just think - God could have chosen any girl, wiser or older, yet He chose Mary. She was just a girl, probably even younger than I. Yet God knew that she was the one who would make a good mother for the Savior of the world! I really enjoyed writing the musical about her and exploring what her life may have looked like. She's an inspiration to us all!

If you'd like to see a larger version of the video,go here.

Hi I came across your blogs why browsing them. You both are nice christian girls and it's good to see there are still some girls out there that don't show everything! I enjoy talking to fellow christian friends around the world so comment me anytime!! God Bless

Great Job, Anna and Miriam! It was good to see you both in a pciture that was "moving" not just still photos. It was also good to hear Miriam's voice. It makes a penpal (yes, I know, I need to write!) so much more real to you if you can hear their voice.

And Miriam, Anna is right - you do have a beautiful voice!

Praise Him for Mary: Chosen By God, if the rest of the musical was as good as that clip, people couldn't help but be blessed! That song had some powerful truths!

I enjoyed Miriam's singing and your dancing. You did another good job putting this production together. You could end up doing musical versions of your "Women of the Bible" series.

That was beautiful!! The combination of music, singing and dancing was very moving. I know the Lord has blessed your presentation of this musical!

I love how you're wearing your hair out whie dancing. I wish more dancers would do that, it looks so nice and feminine :)

Do you wear block shoes, Anna?

Watching you dance reminds me of when I used to learn ballet :)

Sorry I'm late about responding to comments - I was busy and then out-of-town. =)

Jennifer: thanks for your visit! It's great to hear from Christian girls from all over!

eliasboudinotismyfriend: Yes, it is nice to see moving pictures, especially when you know that person well!

Robert: Wow, that would take a while to do musicals of each Woman of the Bible! =) There are definite inspirations in each story, but I don't think I'd have the time to write ones for them all...

Bonnie: Yes, I think hair down when dancing is pretty as well. However, usually I do wear my hair up in a bun, as it is very hot when it's down, and it sometimes gets in the way. It really just depends on the song; for this song, the mood just seemed like it should have the hair down.

Yes, I do wear pointe shoes - I assume that's what you're talking about with block shoes? They can be a pain sometimes, but I've been blessed to learn.
