Family Blessings

I am so blessed to have the family that I do! We had a wonderful time together last weekend, along with many other relatives. At the 35th wedding anniversary celebration we put on for our parents, we were able to take some pictures.

Mom and Dad had 7 children, with 19 years between the oldest and youngest. While we used to have great differences in height, it's funny to see how we're all now around the same height. I'll probably end up the shortest of the siblings, though...

Back: Miriam - 27, Luke - 31, Dad, Elijah - 18, Maria - 29
Front: Jubilee - 12, Mom, Anna - 16, Lydia - 22

Their family has now grown quite large, for a total of 18 members of the JP Lofgren Family

2 married children have blessed the parents with 7 grandchildren so far!

The Cobles: Ron, Maria, James - 6, Sara - 3, and Lisa Beth - 6 months

Luke Lofgrens: Luke, Michele, Danielle - 8, Alex - 6, Zach - 4, Nate - 2

I'm so thankful for the time we got to spend together. It was fun to have our family together! It was a bit of a challenge to take the pictures, however. How do you get 7 little ones to all smile at the same time? =)

It was so great seeing your whole family together!

Random question...does anyone know what happened to the "A Maiden of the Lord" blog by Erin Koller? I really liked reading it, but it's gone.

Erin deleted her blog "A Maiden of The Lord" a while ago, so that's what happened to it. =)

Great family, Anna! My parents were blessed with nine children, and now one grandchild on the way, in July. It is a blessing to be part of a large family, for you get to get sharpened every single day!:) I love your dress in the picture. What pattern did you use?

I used Simplicity costume pattern 5041. It has different variations that you can use.

Sarah, sorry for taking so long to get back to you! For Danielle and Sara's dresses, I used McCall's Stitch and Save Pattern M4746. For Lisa Beth's dress, Michele let me use on of her patterns, and I don't have the number for it.
