Last Christmas, my Aunt Marcia brought me a 4-piece china set that belonged to her and my dad's mother. It is gorgeous with gold edges and flowers. My sister and I are her only granddaughters that aren't married into the family, and my Aunt wanted me to have it.I felt so honored and blessed that she would give it to
me, and when I thought about it, I realized that a couple of years ago she probably wouldn't have given it to me. I was more of a run-around and play in the woods girl, but I recently started helping more in the house and cooking more and becoming more responsible. I feel so happy that I was able to earn the responsibility of an heirloom.
